In 2023, the Sierra Leone team at the United African Basketball LeagueTournament of Nations won it all.
In 2024 they did it again.
In 2025 they came to Washington DC with one thing on their mind.
Quest for Glory follows the Sierra Leone team in the days and momentsleading up to the tournament. Their preparation. Their brotherhood. Their pride in representing a nation and a community far from home.
When you've won back to back, everyone knows your name. Everyone is coming for you.
This is their story.
Produced in partnership with the United African Basketball League, a nonprofit uniting African and diaspora communities through sport.
Full short film coming soon.
AMC Networks and ALLBLK brought the cast and community together for the New York City premiere of Send Help, a Haitian American comedy series created by Jean Elie and Mike Gauyo.
The event took place at Rooftop Films in Brooklyn — a red carpet, live cast conversation, screening, and after party all in one night.
I led the content crew for the evening, building the shotlist, managing videographers and photographers on the ground, directing cast interviews, and overseeing the recap video that captured the energy of the night.
The cast included Jean Elie, Mike Gauyo, Karen Obilom, Amin Joseph, Macc Plaise, vand Karina Bonnefil.
Send Help is exactly the kind of project I'm drawn to. A story rooted in a specific cultural community, told by the people who actually live it, for an audience that deserves to see itself on screen.
