About
I'm Jeffrey — most people call me Ugo.
I'm a sports operator with over 14 years of experience across production, strategy, and community programming inside global sports.
My career has taken me from production sets to brand strategy to community partnerships, including years at Under Armour where I led campaigns and activations alongside Tier 1 athletes, professional teams, leagues, partners, nonprofits, and community organizations across North America, Europe, and Asia. That work earned Telly Award and Webby Award recognition.
I care about stories that don't always get told. Black and brown communities here in the US. African athletes and leagues building something real on the continent. Diaspora audiences that the sports industry keeps underestimating.
That's the work I'm most drawn to. Not because it's a niche, but because it's what I know, what I come from, and what I believe is worth investing in.
Now I'm building the next chapter through UGO Productions, focused on community activation and cultural storytelling for organizations ready to show up credibly in the spaces that matter most.
Outside of client work, I'm building Post Like Ugo, a platform covering the athletes, markets, and moments shaping the future of African sport.
If you're working on something at the intersection of sport, culture, and community, I'd love to hear about it.
